it's JULY already!!!

July is a month that I hate to love... hahaha because school starts again after one month break and also I'm going to be another year older. And there's also Youth Day to celebrate as well...

So this Youth Day we went to Gardens by the Bay and followed by lunch at the Esplanade, Demand and Supply! It was awesome that I wished every Monday is Youth day...
And this week at Made With Love, sharing my layout... inspired by the flowers at Gardens by the Bay, is butterflies layout....

In love with yellow, yellow Dina paint, Heidi Swapp Stencil and punch punch punch lots of butterflies.... The layout turned out exactly how I want it to be! I must say that I love everything here, the mambi stickers and chips, the button badge... and journaling the layout! Love Sean to the moon, and the sun and starts and back....! Instagram Challenge for MWL

Hello All, Smiles! Back again to show you a layout I did for MWL. And this time round, it will be a challenge. Just post any new or old layout using my favourite scrap items...

Here you go the list will be:-
1) Enamel dots (recently I've been crazy over these dots! yes, they are quite expensive but they do add different texture and feel to the layout. I've used the whole packet of MME Street Market below.

2) Washi tapes ( I definitely scrap with washi ALL the times! They are my needs on my scrapbooking)
3) Chipboard stickers or just any stickers
4) Include sewing in your layout :)

Let's reveal the layout!

A layout on one afternoon, we discovered and explored around Tiong Bahru area. As part of Tiong Bahru Heritage Fiesta 2014, the artist Ernest Goh has put up the biggest cock murals around the estate. Sean was running around trying to locate them and said HELLO! The murals were really very well illustrated and looks REAL!

Some closeup! I also like to use typography designs patterned papers and also stickers with wordings and different fonts:), enamel dots SCREAM!

More details on the sewing. I use the WRMK Sew Easy template! Fun and EASY... haha

And Chipboards stickers, stickers, more stickers.... lots of enamel dots! SCREAM!!!!

MWL Layout

Hey How's everybody doing?
Today based on this sketch, I did a real quick layout. And I'm totally amazed because I normally dont use sketch or actually I never use sketch before, keke :)

And here my ROCK ON layout featuring Sean and his cousins.... Look at how much they've grown.

I'm still so much in love with scrapping with my favourite stuff like Thickers for title, brads, eyelets, washi tape and journaling with my typewriter. Here you go some closeup...

Colourful Teardrops or raindrops are awesome! Life is good! Rock ON, ya :)

The eyelets are good to stick down the vellum paper instead of using adhesive on the vellum papers!

Blog Hop - MWL

Hello...It's has been sometime, anybody miss me? Hahaha. Sorry for the real long silence but again we can catch up ya!! I promised will try to update as much as possible. If not do drop me a line on my email or shout out loud and look for me on facebook or instagram, will you? First and foremost, some pictures of the latest layout...Everything is AWESOME!!! HAHAHA Have you watched the latest craze, LEGO movie??

It's all about being ordinary!! Sometimes we just need to find out what we really can do and it's not about being other people! The best is in ourselves.... Some peaks of the ordinary guy, Emmet in this layout...

One day, a special one will unite the people of the world!!! In fact, I think LEGO unite a lot of people together in this world. Just the other day, I brought a small packet of Lego to a friend's house for Chinese New Year steamboat dinner. The couple has a 5yr old daughter and she was playing with the Lego that I brought and then without realising in the end all the adults joined in for fun! It was definitely a fun-filled activities with Lego after dinner.

Anyway, if you come over from MWL Blog, and this week you were diverted to come here to get to know about me... why me? Because I'm one of  MWL Design Team... hahaha
5 things you might not know about me:
1) I'm actually a very very busy person that I do not know what is my limit. I will like to help and do a lot of things if you ask me. And I am not a person who simply just says NO! I really need to learn to say NO sometimes haha.
2) I like scrapping a lot but I do not have time. I like to create stuff, I like stationeries, stickers, papers, stickers and lots of them... can spend long time in stationery or craft shop.
3) Next I spend a lot of time in toys shop or LEGO shop.... hahaha... and then spend lots of time building LEGO too.... I'm dreaming to have an icecream cafe, saloon or restaurant on a truck or vehicle flying everywhere... like here...

4) I think you know a lot of Sean and you know that he is my life and everything! But you probably dont know about my husband.... so let me tell you that he is a very private person and does not like his photograph taken (period) but he will do anything for Sean's sake.
5) Last but not least, if you are new to scrapping, just do it, no need to buy a lot of stuff to scrap, just scrap with what you have and you will be great! And don't bother about all those famous or experienced scrappers! You are as ordinary as Emmet but you are special in your own way! Emmet is not the master builder as compared to Superman, Green Lantern, Mermaid, Batman, etc... but he created the double decker sofa! (hahahah you need to watch the movie, ya!) and Emmet is AWESOME! Everything you create or scrap gonna be AWESOME too! So just do it... keep scrapping and loving. Everything is Awesome, everything is cool....

Project Life Spread - Sharing Some Love from our Holiday Memories

Yah, we went to the best holiday ever! An AWESOME Tokyo trip :D From the 27 Nov 2013, on the flight (YEAH!), we felt the excitement and everyday will be magical moments! The highlight of the trip is definitely the Disney Tokyo - Disneyland and Disneysea too!!!

Everything seems to be so pretty with the Christmas and New Year theme! Even we need to wait for more than an hour for a ride and two hours to meet Mickey... we felt GOOD! hahahaha

Everything is MERRY & Bright! Right PL cards edition for all the photos we captured! And after to Tokyo Disney, we will not go back to HK Disney anymore... everything is too impressive in Tokyo!

Weather was very good for us! We had the sun, the cool, the breezy air and the wonderful time! Everything simply PERFECT! Eating ice cream is so fun too!!

Definitely the most WONDERFUL TIME of the year!!!

MWL Assignment - Xmas is Coming...

HELLO! Is December - the month of magic and fairy tales! hahaha. Lots of love and Xmas in the air :) even though we do not get snowflakes in Singapore... but the pattern for snowflakes are really sooo pretty... And here my bright RED, cheery and bright layout!

Some closeup, techniques shared will be ... how to use your embellishments at ONE GO!!! hahaha.... I really like the clutter of embellishments on the top right... do you like it?

Typed journaling and incorporated... love the details, yellow stripe masking tapes :)

And yes ' You make me believe in Fairy tales...'

I also made a Xmas Card here... and because I want a lot a lot of snowflakes on my card, I punched the snowflakes till my palm hurts.... ouch... hahaha

And lastly some Duffy love here.... Told ya Xmas is in the AIR! haha

hey hey sorry... I'm back here announcing the winner ( or maybe winners) for the Project Life cards.... I'm honoured and really happy to see so many people commented because I really have disappeared from this blog for such a loooooooooong time! Yesh Welcome BACK, my scrappy friends,  BIG SMILES :)))

And before that, .... allow me to share more spread ya, using Sunshine Collection, we will continue with the YELLOW (my favourite colour for this month, hehe) and the blue (my all time favourite colour)... this spread is about TODAY is enjoy you :) The boy is a day dreamer believer, heh!

And next will be the continuous spread from the previous panda and friends page! Visiting the River Safari memories documented with lots of animal friends' photos... life is beautiful !

And wont you agree with me... life is AMAZING too!!!! Cant resist the $2 daiso frame... (Pink another colour I adore because too sweet and lovely)

Yesterday, some of us put together a crop party (inspired by Dear Lizzy) to a dear friend who will be leaving us for a bit. And if you look at this photo.... definitely deserves lots of re-pinning on pinterest!

And check out the pretty scrap materials for the crop, all so nice ya....

And of course, we did have a fruitful crop party and really do-able with PL cards. Simply have a look at the spreads we did in one hour. The PL cards are mixed of 5th and Frolic Edition & also Polka Dot Party too! It is quite easy and consider faster than doing layouts or projects because you know during party everybody will be busy chit chatting, eating, catching up, taking photos, laughing till burst, sharing silly stuff.... and simply hard to SCRAP!!! (and always not in the right mind to choose the colours, what journaling to write, what embelishments to use, will it be nice???? then again these are MEMORIES!!!! Just do it and be messy... but beautiful mess, don't you agree?

Seriously BEST present ever!!!! and these spread will definitely bring back lots of smile, sweet memories (lots of  'misses' ... and remembering all the jokes, fun and laughter as well)
